Amy Harder

Amy Harder is the Senior Director of Business Development at Loyalist College.  

A highly enterprising organizational leader, she has built her 20-year career dedicated to helping startups and driving entrepreneurial activity in Canada. 

Prior to Loyalist, Amy was the Chief Operating Officer at Amber Canada. There, she led the founding operating team, bringing the cannabis startup from a stalled application to a federally licensed company that raised $6.8M. This followed a 13-year tenure with Enactus Canada, six of which were served as its President. A global social enterprise movement, Enactus empowers young innovators in higher education to solve pressing economic, social, and environmental issues through the positive power of business. 

In addition, Amy is a Director for Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward Hastings and Trenval Business Development Corporation. She is a graduate of Humber College in Public Relations, also completing executive education programs in governance, strategy and leadership at the University of Toronto Rotman School of Management and Harvard Business School.  

Known for her entrepreneurial spirit, Amy is on a mission to advance innovation in her hometown. The very same community where she is choosing to raise her children – Dexter, Rosa and Beau.
