July 8, 2021 – Loyalist College is receiving provincial government funding and entering into a partnership with a private cannabis company to do research aiming to improve cannabis production methods.
Loyalist is receiving $75,000 from the province and the company Apollo Green of Ottawa is kicking in $170,000 which will allow five Bioscience and Cannabis Applied Science students to do research over two years to find better ways to grow marijuana.
