The college’s Applied Research Centre has received a pair of Mitacs Accelerate awards totaling $30,000.

Loyalist will allocate its money towards an applied research project with Ottawa-based Apollogreen, a global cannabis starter plant supplier.

The project goal is to maximize cannabis cloning, resulting in fast-growing stock plant material to supply medical and recreational markets.
