What is Let's Talk Science?

Let’s Talk Science is a national institution that offers science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) based programs to support youth, educators, and volunteers across Canada.

Let’s Talk Science is present in more than 50 Canadian colleges and universities that welcome 3,500 volunteers — mostly graduate and undergraduate students — with a mission to go to schools and community events to raise STEM awareness and engagement.

Become a Volunteer

Let’s Talk Science at Loyalist College is always looking for new volunteers.

They are responsible for delivering fun science outreach activities at schools, community events, and Indigenous and rural communities while building up valuable and transferable skills to their resumes.

All costs are covered by Let’s Talk Science. Just bring in the fun, energy, and your knowledge of science!

Broaden Your Experience

Work with First Nations, Metis and Inuit youth, youth in rural communities, guide field trips, offer lab tours, judge science fairs, and host events – whatever fits your schedule.
