Gaia's Canna Stream Solutions Receives Grant to Support New Youth Hires

Vancouver, British Columbia – TheNewswire – August 4, 2021 – Gaia Grow Corp. (the “Company” or “Gaia”) (CSE:GAIA) (CNSX:GAIA.CN)(Frankfurt:GG0) is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Canna Stream Solutions Ltd. (“CSS”), will be receiving funding of up to $60,000 from the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP) through its Youth Employment Program.

With the financial assistance from NRC IRAP, CSS will be able to hire and train two young Canadian scientists to support development and design of pilot and demonstration scale facilities at TruExtracts existing operation in Calgary using CSS’ novel green cannabinoid extraction technology.

We are pleased to announce Olga Kravchenko, M.Sc. (University of Calgary) and Amy Li, B.Chem. Eng. (Dalhousie University) as new additions to the CSS team.

In addition, with support from NRC IRAP, CSS has benefitted from the services of Tech-Access Canada and its Interactive Visits (TAC iv) program to partner with The Centre for Natural Products and Medical Cannabis at Loyalist College for the analysis of extracts produced by CSS cannabinoid extraction technology.
