Research Associate, Centre for Natural Products
Brittany Bachellier joined the Centre in 2021 as a Research Associate. She is also a part-time Biosciences faculty member at Loyalist College.
As a Centre Research Associate, Brittany is responsible for assisting with the execution of applied research projects and contributing to the day-to-day operations of the Centre, including leading the technologists in instrumentation to complete experiments, and mentoring student research assistants. Brittany also supported the Cannabis Career Launch program and plays a lead role in optimizing Centre organization.
Prior to the Centre, Brittany worked as the Lab Technologist and a Lab Instructor for the Cannabis Applied Science program at Loyalist College. Previous to that, she was a Quality Technician at VIVO Cannabis following her graduation from Loyalist. During her time as a student, Brittany was also hired as a student research assistant with the Centre for two semesters.
Brittany completed her BSc (Biochemistry) at Trent University and is also a certified Master Grower.
