Research Associate, Centre for Natural Products
Richard Walsh joined the Centre for Natural Products as a Research Associate in January 2024. With five years of experience in Research & Development and quality assurance in both personal care products and cannabis manufacturing sectors, he brings valuable expertise in product formulation, analytical testing, regulatory compliance, and logistical considerations to support the Centre’s industrial partners’ success.
As a Research Associate, Richard is responsible for supporting the execution of applied research projects and contributing to the day-to-day operations of the Centre, developing analytical methods, creating experimental protocols, and collaboratively training student Research Assistants.
Richard completed his BSc (Hons) in Biological and Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Guelph in 2018.
